The story of Talahele Kava begins in the heart of Leimatu'a, Vava'u, where my family and I have proudly cultivated the land of Talahele for generations. This sacred estate has been a cornerstone of kava cultivation and agricultural traditions that define Tongan culture. It is my privilege to share this kava with you, bringing the unique taste of Leimatu'a's soil and the richness of our heritage into every cup.
Kava is deeply embedded in the Tongan way of life, a tradition passed down through the generations. In our fast-paced world, it offers a moment to slow down and connect with something profound. Talahele, the district within Leimatu'a, has long been known for its agricultural significance, and our kava stands as a testament to the care and dedication we put into nurturing this land.
Our kava processing facility, is accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Forests (MAFF), ensuring that our products meet stringent safety and quality standards. From harvesting to processing, every step is guided by our dedication to ensure the kava is what it is ought to be: Extra strong; Extra clean!
This is Siosifa Lousi, the founder of Talahele Kava receiving the accreditation by the Ministry of Agriculture Food and Forests.
